With a spirited “I do!” two Zurich agencies, FCB Zurich and Department, merged on Thursday…Acting as master of ceremonies Daniel Rohr (Director of Theater Rigiblick) gave a speech on a common history of the two agencies. With pithy humour he provided advice for long-term crackle in the relationship and wished the couple all the best. “May your connection be fertile,” he said. “Numerous new customers and employees should arrive in the future.” The audience, especially agency employees and customers, smiled.
The ceremony and the party was held in the “common household” at 267 Henry Street, where the couple had moved a few weeks ago.
The wedding plans were announced by the two agencies in early June. [Johannes Eisenhut and Oliver Brunschwiler] handed over the operational management to Cornelia Harder, CEO FCB Zurich, as of 1 July in order to, “focus on their strategic and creative skills,” as they said back then (persoenlich.com reported). The creative director of the new agency is Dennis Lück, the longtime executive creative director of FCB Zurich (formerly “Draftfcb / Lowe”).
